How we review

Clear standards before a recommendation.

NurtureCrest explains supplements in consumer-friendly language. We check the evidence, inspect product information and make commercial relationships visible before we publish a guide or retailer link.

See an example profile → an unbranded specimen showing exactly what a finished product profile contains and the 14 checks it passes before publication.

Our purpose

Useful context, not a quick-fix promise.

Supplements are personal. A product can be well labelled and still be unsuitable for a particular person, medicine, condition or life stage. Our role is to help readers ask better questions, understand labels and see where professional advice belongs.

We do not diagnose, prescribe or promise that a product will prevent, treat or cure a health condition.

Editorial principles

The standards behind every published page.

Consumer-first

We start with the reader’s question, including who may need extra care, rather than starting with a product claim or retailer promotion.

Evidence-aware

We use public-health guidance, clinical sources, peer-reviewed research and product documentation. The strength and limits of evidence matter.

Commercially clear

Affiliate relationships are disclosed. A commission never decides whether a product is included, how it is ranked or what we write.

Our review process

Four checks before a product link is published.

1

Define the question

We identify what a reader may be trying to understand, the relevant nutrient or ingredient, and situations where self-selection may be inappropriate.

2

Inspect the product

We check the Supplement Facts or equivalent label, ingredients, form, serving size, dose, allergen details, warnings, testing information and manufacturer documentation where available.

3

Check the evidence

We compare claims with appropriate consumer-health, clinical and research sources. We distinguish established information, limited evidence and marketing language.

4

Verify the buying route

Before an affiliate link appears, we verify the retailer, destination, availability and disclosure. We state when a profile is a placeholder or when a link has not yet been verified.

What we assess

The details readers should be able to compare.

  • Ingredient identity and chemical or botanical form.
  • Amount per serving and overlap with other products.
  • Relevant quality or independent-testing disclosures.
  • Warnings, interactions and life-stage considerations.
  • Value, retailer availability and date last checked.

Updates and corrections

Information changes. We will say when it does.

We review content when product labels, retailer availability, relevant guidance or source evidence changes. Editorial pages can be corrected, updated or removed when information no longer meets our standard.

Reader feedback helps identify unclear wording, missing questions and possible errors. Send editorial questions or corrections to editor@nurturecrest.com. It does not replace professional medical advice.
